Deakin University Scholarships
Deakin’s scholarship program
Giving you the opportunity to access higher education is very important to Deakin University. That’s why we offer a range of academic excellence and access and equity scholarships. These scholarships help students with different skills, from many different backgrounds, with the costs of tuition and accommodation.
Each Deakin scholarship provides financial assistance, with several incorporating work-integrated learning opportunities or a mentoring component.
The University recognises and rewards high-achieving students through its wide range of academic excellence scholarships. Access and equity is one of Deakin’s core commitments and this is reflected in the growing number and range of access and equity, accommodation and Indigenous scholarships available at the University. These scholarships are developed specifically for people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access higher education – students from disadvantaged financial backgrounds; students from regional and rural backgrounds; students with a disability; mature age students; and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Deakin’s Scholarship Program is supported by a number of valued partners, in addition to the University, who see the importance of helping future Deakin graduates to achieve their best.
